Food Update

Amelia had a carrot-asparagus smoothie for lunch today.

The asparagus was the first batch from Grampy Ray and Grannie Annie’s garden! She’s also had pears, yogurt, sweet potato and oops some of her great grandma’s birthday cake last weekend. Shhh, don’t tell her pediatrician about that one.

Blue Eyes

I thought Amelia’s eyes would look nice with our blue sheets. We think they might stay blue.
Too bad I had to change the sheets just after this picture!

Grandma’s 88th Birthday!

Amelia’s Great Grandma Laura turned 88 on Friday. Here is Amelia’s mom, Amelia’s mom’s mom (holding Amelia), and Amelia’s mom’s mom’s mom!

Everyone took turns feeding Amelia. Grampy Ray gave her bananas for breakfast on Saturday.

And here is Amelia telling her great grandmother “Happy Birthday!”.

Two pictures that I love

Amelia loves to say “Aaaaaaahhh”, especially back and forth with her daddy.

I love her facial expression in this one.

Bath Fun

After Amelia turned her head into the infant tub water to take a drink a few times, sitting up in the bath sounded like a good idea. She likes it a lot. Welcome to a whole new world of bath fun!

Swing for Big Kids

Not a baby swing to comfort her or put her to sleep!

It took a few times, mostly by Rose (Amelia’s daycare), for Amelia to not cry in the swing. She will really enjoy it soon.

More Spring

This is the weeping crabapple in our front yard, almost as beautiful as AVJ!

Amelia & Fafa

Amelia loves to roll around in someone’s lap, saying “Aaaaaahhhhh” over and over.

Fafa is Danish for father’s father.

Upside down you turn me

In between her dinners (she eats like a Hobbit), I was playing with AVJ on the couch and somehow she got on her back and looking at the world upside down. She LOVED it!

More springtime shots

Amelia helped mow the front yard. Luckily, she was more interested in pulling up the grass than eating it.
