Summer is here!
First, the food update. It’s not as much fun because fingerfoods don’t seem to be as messy as colorful purees:

We all had pancakes for breakfast this morning. Amelia had two, with a little papaya.

Wow, she was really hungry on Thursday. ; )

Amelia is no longer a vegetarian. She had some chicken/apple/oat meatball that Laura made.
And….tada! The temperatures got into the mid80s and Amelia got a pool today!

Are there other countries in the world where you can buy a blow up elephant pool with a sun shade and spray tail, for a mere $9.99?
We are going to have a lot of fun with this over the summer or until it gets a hole.
The big news is that we think she’ll be crawling really soon. She turns from sitting to her hands and one knee to reach for things. She can’t quite figure out how to get that other leg turned. While I was out this morning, Ethan said she wiggled several feet forward on her stomach. Watch out, here she comes!

The answer is no. No other countries sell this for $9.99. Especially not in Ireland (pronounced: Oirleand)where this would cost you about fifty-seven million Euro’s and some greasy, shifty looking bloke would tell you it would be in stock by about November, right around the time you don’t need it. Takes them a long time to get over to America and steal them from your backk yards and then ship them back to Europe you see.
She looks really cute in there, and that frog looks delicious! How very French.
