Amelia and I went to her great grandparents’ place for lunch on Veteran’s Day. She got a new Recorder! Sorry it’s blurry. She had a lot of fun with their organ and really surprised me by liking my tomato soup/chili…but not the beans.

Otherwise we’re scratching the barrel for pictures. We had a really good, do nothing weekend. So:

Mom’s socks are fun! (She can say “socks” and “shoes”)

A bowl can be a really fun toy.

Some things that make us laugh:

• She used to point to her ear when we asked where her nose was. Now she points to her ear and says “eye”. A little Picasso painting.
• She points and tells Grizzy to “Stop it” and “no” when he barks.
• She is starting to say “poop”.
• Sometimes she kisses us. Or really just approaches our faces with her open mouth.
• She started the week with “Go Dogs Go” as her favorite book. I had to read it four times one night. And she has a phrase she says emphatically every time we get to the “stop dogs stop, the light is red” page. We ended with “Curious George ABCs” as the favorite.
