The Big Girl
Amelia is now “the big girl” because we have a baby visiting us. Baby Mia and her mom Shea are here. Mia is a peach!
Which means Amelia shouldn’t be sitting the baby swing!
It is good for us to remind ourselves once in a while that Amelia does sit down…sometimes.
This big girl loves tomatoes. “Ma-toes.”
She’s amazing! This week she’s said “baby is sleeping”, she “quack”-ed for a goose in a book, and puts together a lot of combinations like “byebye grizzy”, “hi baby”, “phone fafa”, “me-nu (more) ^insert food here^”, and “nite-nite grizzy” (while he was sleeping on the floor). She really loves Grizzy.
Sometimes she has to have her 1) doggie (in pic above), 2) her lambie, 3) her baby, AND 4) her blankie while we read books before bed.
We think she learned sharing this week. I dropped her off at Rose’s on Tuesday. She got a bucket of match box cars and I asked her to give one to another child there. She did, and Rose and I clapped and bravoed- she KNEW she did something good. She kept passing out the cars after that!
We think she had her first temper tantrum tonight. Ethan took her fork away after he asked her three times to not use it to brush food off the high chair tray. She really didn’t like that.
