Easter weekend
We went to Maryvale Park yesterday. She played with Giselle, another 18 month old girl. She got this vanilla wafer from Giselle, and called the lumps on the climbing wall “froggie”.
The Easter bunny brought Amelia a chocolate bunny. She ate the ears and got distracted by her toys so we took the rest away. She didn’t ask for more (thank goodness), hopefully we can give it to her slowly.
Amelia wouldn’t wear her bunny ears, neither would Grizzy. Cadbury-bunny was the only one who was game.
We went to our neighborhood’s egg hunt. Amelia found one and didn’t really understand the game but had a great time. We hid it several times for her. She was more interested in the playground equipment and the other kids. There were lots of neighbors, not evident from these pictures.
A funny story: Ethan was looking at the Finding Nemo trailer on the internet with Amelia. She kept hitting the mouse button programmed for “back”, and turned to Ethan, astonished each time, and asked “Wha happen?”.
