Daphne’s glasses II
Finally, Daphne in her glasses! And with an appropriate bib. She grabs the glasses off her face as fast as she grabs our glasses off our faces.
Amelia the monkey got up there all by herself!
Catriona and Amelia made us dinner on Sunday! Good job, girls.
Daphne says “I da” when she waves, I am pretty sure she is saying “Hi Daphne” because that is what we always say to her. That’s my only story about her because she’s been under the weather for a while now. We’re looking forward to having cheerful Daphne back soon, after starting some antibiotic today.
We are working on Amelia’s inside voice. Her teacher wrote a comment last week “Amelia still doesn’t talk much but when she does, it’s informative.”
They are doing a good job of teaching the kids to be more polite. We get spontaneous thank yous now, “I prefer” rather than “I want” and she told me about learning “Yes, mam” today. Coming soon…Amelia’s big girl bed. She and I went mattress shopping (click) tonight for her new bed, for her third birthday! Amelia got dressed in her pajamas and slippers and took pink to the mattress stores. She was very cute and we had a lot of fun.

Too cute. I still want glasses like Daphne’s I hope she feels better soon. A sweet girl like that needs to feel good. The mattress shopping is fantastic. How else could Amelia know if it is right without her jams and pink. Love to all.
