We’re back!
Finally. We’ve missed you. It has been too long!
Shea and Mia visited us in November. Here is Mia with Daphne and Amelia, in the big spider chair at the Children’s Museum.
My favorite picture of Mia, feeding sleeping Cadbury a play ice cream cone.
Amelia got hatched.
Amelia is learning how to perform a puppet show. We did this for a long time one Saturday morning this month. We puppeted elaborate hide-and-seek games with blocks making different rooms of a house and puppets looking for Monster Fingerpuppet. Great word, puppet.
Daphne loves to ride the tricycle.
She can’t even reach the pedals, but she was soooo proud and happy to get pushed up the street on the tricycle. Straps are a good thing.
Poor Daphne ended up in the ER this evening with a bad cold and difficulty breathing, sent straight from the pediatrician. Several treatment options and 5 hours later, she was cruising all around the outside of the hospital bed, hanging on to every bar and examining every piece of metal around the contraption. She is home asleep and feeling much better. Better tonight than tomorrow, too. Our little butterball (I couldn’t resist!) wants turkey and some family.
Promise we won’t stay away so long next time! See you soon…and Happy Thanksgiving!

A few weeks ago, Amelia was carrying a travel coffee mug and couldn’t get the lid off.
Amelia: Daddy. How do you open this?
me: That’s pretty hard to open. I think you need to be an adult.
Amelia: Oh. I don’t want to be an an adult. Because I don’t like beer.
