I have been trying to figure out what Dapne is saying for a few days.  Tonight it was pretty clear when Amelia left the dinner table and Daphne said, “I poo-dotty too!”  (I poop on the potty too!)  She doesn’t do that at all yet, but she’s thinking about it.  The funny part is that I think she is using the verb “poo” as we would use “do”.

Example: “I poo dolor!” = “I do color!” (I want to color).

“I poo walk” = “I do walk” (I want to take a walk).

I’ve heard “I want …” a couple of times recently, but “I poo…” is much funnier.
