Daphne got a little toy piano for Christmas. It has keys with numbers, so kids can play by pushing the right numbers. Amelia tried it, and figured it out. She then remembered this xylophone she got for Christmas last year. Now every day, she asks if she can go practice!

It is really cool to see her teach herself. Part of it might be that I told her to sit on a stool at the bar, which kids aren’t allowed to do because a friend fell off a stool last year. So, sitting there is a special treat. But it also keeps her out of Daphne’s reach, so she can play in peace. She says “I’m being careful” every time she gets up and down, hope she keeps doing that.
