Amelia’s very brave teachers took the class to the roller rink for a field trip this morning.  We had a great time!

The kids had skates that go over their shoes. They all did a super job getting around the rink, mostly in a shuffle with a tiny bit of rolling.  She demonstrated skating during dinner tonight, and told us about the “smooth smooth flat floor”.  It was something new and different for all of them, and a great experience.  Amelia really liked the different disney scenes painted above the tables around the rink.  I’m thinking some cheap skates are a great Spring surprise for a girl who lives on a cul-de-sac.
