A beautiful day for a moonbounce
We had a gorgeous day yesterday, just incredible for Feb. 1st. So we got out two of our pile of inflatable toys. (We have three, if you can believe it!) Daphne can’t jump yet, but she sure will some day with all of these squishy things to learn on.
Aunt Cheri gave the girls an inflatable ball for Christmas. A kid (or kids!) can get inside and roll around.
The girls also got a moon bounce handed down from some friends of Gigi and Gifer. Can you believe two girls lucky enough to OWN one of these? It was really easy to set up, too. Here’s Daph coming out the door, and Amelia and a neighbor jumping inside.
Wiped out!
Amelia has her Little Mermaid book memorized, and read it to Trey while they took a break from rolling and jumping.
We went to story time at the library on Saturday. They featured books about polar animals, including Eric Carle’s Polar Bear, Polar Bear. Amelia whispered to me “Mama, it’s Eric Carle, like Prince Eric!” (The prince in Little Mermaid.
Amelia’s class mascot is a stuffed Toucan named Lulu. We got to bring Lulu home this weekend. Each family returns a ‘diary’ about Lulu’s visit to share with the class. Click here to read: lulu!

Too cool! Can the moonbounce hold over 100 lbs? I want to jump in when I visit!
