Kinda makes me feel like we’re doing an o.k. job here.

Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m so happy to have a family like you.

We picked blackberries in Grannie & Grampy’s neighbor’s back yard.  Not sure if this is a thumbs up for berries, or if she’s showing me a thorn!  She loves berries.

Daphne is carrying her berry purse.

Grannie made a blackberry pie, and Amelia got to lick the whipped cream from the spatula!

Grannie & Grampy had a party for Daphne’s birthday while we were there, and surprised her with a giant ELMO cake made from cupcakes connected together by frosting.

Daphne loved ringing the porch bell for dinner time (Or anytime)!

These are lucky girls, and pushing them in Grampy’s heavy wheel barrow is very good exercise.

We had a great time.  Here are the girls on the tire swing.

When Daphne sees these pictures she says “I rode the tire and I said Woo-Hoo!”

Aunt Cheri played Happy Birthday on the ukulele!

She also brought Amelia this great art set.  Amelia did this in 10 minutes while I took Daphne upstairs for her nap.

Ethan got Daphne this bike for her birthday.  No pedals, no training wheels.  It will make her work at balance.

Daphne wants to be a firefighter when she grows up.  Amelia gave her this awesome dress up for her birthday.

She even got to wear it to her friend’s birthday party at Fire Station #22 the next day!!!  Ding, ding, ding, ding ding!

Daphne turned 4 this past weekend.  She had a party at a gymnastics school the girls took a class at this past spring.

Here’s one for the Lyons and Martin-Lyons.  Jackson made it, even after a car break down.

Amelia didn’t mind hanging out with the 4 year olds, and showing them a trick or two.  I saw her practicing her tuck jumps (she’s preparing for one, below) at home the week before the party.

Great form!  This was her favorite part, too.

Not sure how many italian ices, snow cones, and popcorns Daphne ate.   She was pretty pleased with herself half way through the afternoon last Saturday at our blockparty.  One neighbor rented a snow cone machine, had three big buckets of italian ice from his brother-in-law’s shop, and a popcorn dispenser.  Crazy junky goodness for all!!
